Client workshops by AGN Member SH+C Group, Germany -
Changes in German financial reporting standards

In November 2010, Richard Hempe, Managing Partner of SH+C group with offices in Munich, Regensburg and Dachau, presented two client workshops in Regensburg and Munich to show the changes according to German Accounting Law Modernization Act (BilMoG).

In Germany, plenty of changes of the financial standards were introduced with the German Accounting Law Modernization Act (BilMoG). As the annual statements for 2010 have to be prepared according to the new law the workshop was a good opportunity for the clients of SH+C Group to learn more about the practical handling of the changes just in sufficient time before year end.

Due to the high number of seminars of SH+C at several chambers of tax consultants, SH+C is very well prepared to consider the new accounting standards in the current accounting during the year as well as the annual financial statements. The clients (financial managers of the companies) were highly interested especially in this background information which was presented and illustrated by Richard Hempe.

More than 30 participants in Munich and 40 participants in Regensburg, mostly part of the management level, took part at the seminar. With the detailed handout the clients received a reference book for their daily work. According to the feedback the clients were really glad to get the offer of the workshop and some effective help regarding the final preparation of the financial statements 2010.
